Trivia[]

  • This is an anime original episode.
  • In a scene where Godai is waking up, there is a magazine that says "Papeye" on it. That is most likely a reference to the american comic strip "Popeye".
  • In a scene where Godai is working as a cashier, Nabiki Tendo (from the Ranma 1/2 anime series) appears as a customer.
  • In the scene where Godai is buying the presents for Kyōko, Kozue and Ikuko, there are several keychains with characters that have appeared in the Urusei Yatsura anime series: Dappya, Kotatsu Neko, Amefurashi, and the Mirror Demon.
  • In scene where Mitaka is with some girls at the café, there is an insert song called "Try your Luck Again", by singer CINDY from her 1986 album "Love Life".
  • The present Godai gives to Ikuko is a keychain resembling a Dappya (a triton-like mutant fish), originally from Rumiko Takahashi's first published comic "Katte na Yatsura" (Those Selfish Aliens).
