Wedding Bells for Kozue! Is Godai's Love Eternal?! is the ninety-second episode of the Maison Ikkoku anime.
Synopsis[]
After the events of the last episode, Kyōko is hesitant to return to Maison Ikkoku. When she goes to Chachamaru to talk to Akemi, the latter will not explain things out, so it's up to Godai to try to make things right. Meanwhile Kozue goes to visit Godai at the cabaret to talk to him. Is Godai going to be able to explain things out to Kyōko? What will Kozue and Godai say to each other to part ways for good?

- The newspaper itself is named "The Japan News", which is a real japanese newspaper published in English. It was formerly called "The Daily Yomiuri".
- The main article on it has a title that says "Weather in Washington's lovely, while the crises are adding up"
- According to a wall calendar on the cabaret's nursery room, this episode takes place on a month that has 29 days and starts on a Monday the 1st.
- This episode aired on February 1988, but the Tankobon manga counterpart was published around June 1987.
- That being said, the month of February 1988 complies with those requirements.
- In the same scene, that wall calendar displays an image in its header that strongly resembles Kintarō 's bear from Urusei Yatsura and aparently himself holding a fishing rod behind the bear.
- In the scene where where Godai and Kozue say farewell to each other, an instrumental version of Fantasy is played on the background.
- This episode covers Chapters 150 and 152 of the manga. The missing Chapter 151 is one in which Godai and Kyōko go to a love hotel and attempted to have sex, but did not consumate it.
