Trivia[]
- Everyone attends an Obon Festival. That is a traditional japanese festival celebrated every year to honor the past ancestors.
- In the scene where Mitaka is looking for Sōichirō, he looks a kid feeding a dog. The kid gives the dog a Taiyaki, a common japanese street food that is a fish-shaped cake.
- In the same scene Mitaka runs through a stand that sells masks. Among those masks there is a Doraemon mask, a Spiderman mask and a panda mask.
- In one of the scenes at the end of the Obon Festival there is a "Tirin" bottle on the tennats' table. That is probably a reference to Kirin beer, a popular brand of japanese beer.
